In many cases, Co-Op (internships) can take the place of electives in your major. Students may also be able to use their current jobs to gain credit hours. The coperative education office has internships for every major on campus, and you might find yourself working in the following areas

Medical Office Administration – Numerous medical practices in Cabarrus and Rowan counties

Office Administration – A large number of businesses in the two-county area

Automotive – Dealerships in Cabarrus and Rowan counties

Criminal Justice – Youth agencies in both counties, police and sheriff’s departments
