Vet Connect - Providing Vets with the Tools for Success

On Friday, February 1, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in partnership with other entities will be hosting Vet Connect at the NC Research Campus location in Kannapolis (399 Biotechnology Lane). This FREE one-day seminar will provide hands-on resources to assist veterans in finding employment. Some of the services provided will include: Translating military skills to the private sector (i.e. resume workshop, interviewing skills, etc.); instruction in military benefits to pursue further education (not just for RCCC but applicable to any school); Holland Assessments to identify career interests; starting a small business; dressing for success; and more. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to the veterans in attendance. Registration is required – although this is a free event, space is limited.
