Make A Gift

I believe in what the College accomplishes in our region.

Give online today.

There are several options available for individuals, organizations, or businesses to provide scholarship and program funds for deserving students. Most contributors are residents of Cabarrus and Rowan counties, faculty and staff of the College, Rowan-Cabarras alumni and others who know the important economic impact of an educated workforce within our region.

Endowments

Major gifts of $15,000 and more given in perpetuity, as memorials or tributes to individuals, by family and friends or by corporations or associations. Such gifts are payable as a one-time donation or over five years. The principal is never spent. Endowed funds are invested with interest spent in accord with the policies of the Foundation, which are available upon request but are subject to change as dictated by market and economic conditions. All endowed funds are recognized through creation of a portrait of the individual for whom the fund is named, an individual brochure and a place on the RCCC Foundation Donor Wall. Each year endowment donors are invited to our Changing Lives Scholarship Luncheon. List of Endowed Funds

Named Funds

Gifts of any amount are accepted; however, donations of $1,500 and more can be considered a “Named Scholarship,” in which the donor can “Name” the scholarship and set criteria. To name a scholarship, the donor pledges to provide support for three consecutive years. Each fall, scholarship donors are invited to our annual Changing Lives Scholarship Luncheon. List of Annual Funds

Planned Gifts

The Heritage Circle includes those who have indicated a bequest or future gift in a will, estate or through life insurance. If you have made provisions for a planned gift, please make us aware so that we may add your name to our Heritage Circle. List of Heritage Circle Members

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Few gifts make as much of a statement as those given to memorialize or honor someone. Not only do students benefit from the generosity of those who give, but special people are recognized and remembered for lifetimes to come; it’s a double-bonus. Scholarships given in memory of loved ones speak volumes about the values of those we remember. And gifts given to celebrate milestones in someone’s life—a birthday, anniversary, special accomplishment – not only honor the individual, but benefit students at the college whose lives can be profoundly transformed as the recipients of such gifts.

The RCCC Foundation is happy to create special certificates that can be given, in lieu of gifts, to those who are honored through a tribute gift. For more information about making a Memorial or Tribute gift, contact the Foundation office at (704) 216-3459.

Matching Gifts

It is not uncommon for companies to double or even triple the value of an employee’s charitable contribution to the RCCC Foundation. If your employer matches gifts, contact its personnel office to obtain the necessary forms.
