Purpose
The Student Impact Grant supports the mission of the RCCC Foundation to enhance the quality of education while building stronger communities. Awards are available for educational grant opportunities developed by RCCC Community College faculty and staff for the benefit of RCCC students. Online Application.
Funding
Student Impact Grants are funded through the RCCC Foundation from private contributions. Applications are accepted annually by the RCCC Foundation in June for the upcoming academic year. Deadline dates may vary each year. RCCC will send everyone an email that outlines deadlines as they are determined.
Eligibility
- Qualifying RCCC employees are regular (full or part-time) employees, including faculty, administrators, support staff, and maintenance personnel.
- Applicant must be employed for a minimum of one year, having completed the employment probationary period.
- Applicant may not be on a leave of absence.
- Requires support from department dean/director.
Requirements
- Grants may not be used for substitute pay, student subsidy or travel expenses.
- Grant awards will be distributed according to guidelines established by RCCC Foundation and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
- Grant recipients are required to provide a summary report of the grant award to the RCCC Foundation within 15 days upon completion.
- Grant disbursement must occur within RCCC Foundation’s fiscal year in which the grant has been awarded.
- All requests for grant award requisitions must be submitted to the RCCC Foundation.
