About Us
The nucleus of College Information Systems is located in Building 100 at North Campus. It is responsible for both internal and external web support for the five campuses of RCCC. Among other things, the College Information Systems team is in charge of academic support and manages the running of both WebAdvisor and Blackboard. Moreover, they control the staff directory, a computerized system for the entire school’s paperwork called Colleague Systems, all of the College’s databases, a web-based ID system, a password reset system, student ID creation, and they maintain administrative support via Datatel. As far as web presence is concerned, the team keeps Sharepoint, the internal communication mechanism for employees, running and also oversees the ways in which RCCC is represented through social media and designing and branding.

College Information Systems is pleased to announce that a great deal of progress is being made toward completing its current projects. The team’s efforts have led to the manifestation of eCommerce, a system which will allow students to bypass visiting Business Services and pay their bills online via credit card instead. They have also been hard at work creating a web-based ID service as well as an automated password system for student accounts.
