The following items are planned as future development for the Rowan-Cabarrus website. Development timelines are dependent on the needs of the college, some items on this list may be abandoned or postponed if a sufficient need does not exist.

Future Development Items

• Mobile style to display the Rowan-Cabarrus website in a usable, readable format on mobile devices.
• Additional style sheets for increased accessibility, including dyslexia-friendly font options and increased font size options. Completed.
• One stop tag drill down to allow students to select a combination of tags to filter articles in the one stop, allowing for quicker searching and browsing.
• Google site-wide search integration to replace ineffective sub-site searches. Completed
• Add additional social elements to the website to facilitate sharing and discussion.
• Make the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Catalog and Student Handbook more user friendly and sustainable. Completed.
• Add RSS feed links where appropriate and create an RSS feed index to browse all feeds.
• Update Maps and Directions pages with more information and interactivity. Completed.
