Computer Classes

Register & Pay for Classes Online!

  • To register, go to WebAdvisor.   New classes are added each day.
    • Click “Students,” then “Register and Pay for Continuing Education Classes.”
    • To search for your class, type a Key Word.
    • Check the box(es) to select the class(es) for which you wish to register and hit “Submit”.
    • Enter your information and follow instructions to register and pay.

Corporate and continuing education offers computer courses from introductory through advanced levels.

Introduction to Computers

This course is designed to introduce students to computers and computer terminology, teach basic computer-use skills, explore the Internet, and develop email capabilities.  Basic keyboarding (typing) skills are required.

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word – Basic

Learn how to work with files, format a document, edit a document, work with tables and create documents for the workplace.

Microsoft Word – Intermediate

Learn how to work with columns, design tables and tabs, do calculations and charts, work with auto text and autocorrect, merge features, merge envelopes and labels and insert pictures.

Microsoft Word – Advanced

In this eight-hour course, learn to work with pictures, word art and columns, apply styles, create a template, create a macro, prepare documents for publishing.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel – Basic

Learn how to create a worksheet, use formulas and functions, edit a worksheet, format a worksheet and manage large worksheets.

Microsoft Excel – Intermediate

Learn how to create a chart, edit the chart, insert formulas and functions, create and manage lists, sort and filter lists and use functions in lists.

Microsoft Excel – Advanced

In this eight-hour course, learn how to manipulate multiple worksheets, summarize data, use pivot tables and pivot charts, record and run macros, and link to Word and import to Access.
