General Update (GENUP)

The General Update (GENUP) course (formally known as Mandatory Update) is developed by the NC Real Estate Commission each year.
General Update course subject matter is:

•      Section 1:   Radon
•      Section 2:   Selected Topics in Property Management
•      Section 3:   Law and Rule Updates
•      Section 4:   Protecting Consumers’ Confidential Information
•      Section 5:   Licensing and Education

• Online registration and payment is available.
  1. Go to WebAdvisor.
  2. Click “Students,” then “Search, Register and Pay for Continuing Education Classes.”
  3. To search for your class, type “GENERAL” as a Key Word.
  4. Check the box to select the class for which you wish to register and hit “Submit.”
  5. Enter your information and follow instructions to register and pay.
