Photoshop Fundamentals

This hands-on project-based class is designed to deliver an overall working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, considered the industry standard for digital photo editing software. We’ll cover Photoshop terminology and setting up the workspace for individual needs and use. Then we’ll learn how to work with layers, perform a number of photo corrections like color and lighting adjustments, and utilize Photoshop’s selection and retouching tools to fine tune photos. Along the way we’ll also learn fun and practical tips to turn ordinary snapshots into fun and artistic photographs, suitable for framing.

• Class meets on Saturdays, 10/21, 10/28 and 11/4.
