Scholarship awards are given for short-term training within the Rowan-Cabarrus Continuing Education department that coincides with an applicant\u2019s identified employment goal. Each recipient must assure willingness to meet or exceed expectations by:<\/p>\n Individuals needing training for an employment goal and have a recognized need for funding assistance are encouraged to apply. There are various scholarships available and there are eligibility requirements for each. The R3 Team will help you in applying for the best scholarship opportunity.<\/p>\n Scholarships award amounts are based on funding availability.<\/p>\n After you submit the Continuing Education Scholarship Request Form, you will receive an email from R3 r3@rccc.edu<\/a> with follow-up instructions on meeting with your R3 Career Specialist to assist you with completing the full application.<\/p>\n Once the full scholarship application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the CCE Scholarship Committee.<\/p>\n The Scholarship Committee \/ R3 Career Services Team meets on Wednesdays to review application requests and final submissions.<\/p>\n Full applications received by 11:59 p.m. on the Tuesdays prior to the Wednesday meeting will be reviewed in the Wednesday session.<\/p>\n\n
