All Summer Institute sessions will occur in Kannapolis on the North Carolina Research Campus (NCRC), at the Rowan-Cabarrus Biotechnology Building.
399 Biotechnology Lane
Kannapolis, NC 28081
In an effort to be an active participant in the “going green” initiative, CTL will not provide printed programs. The full program will be posted online and available through Eventbase. Eventbase can be downloaded to your phone or tablet through Google Play or the App Store.
Once you have downloaded Eventbase, use the search feature to search for “Rowan-Cabarrus.” A link for the 2016 Summer Institute should be visible. Click on the event link, then tap on the Launch Event Guide button to view the full schedule with session descriptions.
Session evaluations will be available during each session. Please complete session evaluations for each session you attend, as this helps us determine future programming and professional development opportunities. In addition to session evaluations, you will be asked to complete a Summer Institute evaluation. This evaluation will assist us in the planning and preparation of the 2017 Summer Institute.
Wireless internet access is available. Rowan-Cabarrus employees are highly encouraged to connect to “RCCCPersonalDevice”
To connect to the wireless connection, open a browser window and enter your AD credentials (same as your computer and Blackboard access).
Food & Beverages
Lunch will be provided each day. Light continental breakfasts will be provided on Thursday and full breakfast will be provided on Friday. Light refreshments will be available during breaks.
Verification of Attendance
Attendance rosters will be available at each session. Rosters must be signed for each session attended. If a participant must leave during a session, you should note the time you leave on the roster. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure they have signed the roster for each session attended.
