On Saturday, June 9th the Center for Faith & the Arts held an opening reception for the show “This Is Us”. The exhibition is a collaboration between Center for Faith & the Arts, Salisbury Pride, and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College’s Department of Fine & Applied Arts as a part of the celebration of June as Pride month.
Congratulations to current AFA in Visual Arts student Jay Dior, as his piece “#METOO MOVEMENT” placed 2nd.
Susan Corriher, a graduate of the AFA in Visual Arts program at Rowan-Cabarrus, placed 3rd.
Recent graduate Krystal Rothermund garnered honorable mention.
The show will run through July 20th at the Center for Faith & the Arts. The gallery is open to the public and is located at: 207 W Harrison Street Salisbury, N.C.
