For Immediate Release:

The Department of Fine & Applied Arts is thrilled to announce that one of our current Advertising and Graphic Design students, Corrin Skinner, won the 2018 North Carolina Community College System Conference Student Cover Art Contest!

Corrin’s design, completed as a class project under Instructor Aaron Tallman, was chosen out of 78 entries submitted by community college students throughout the state of North Carolina. The competition required the design to relate to the theme “We are 58 Strong” and embody the essence of the 58 community colleges through art and design.

Corrin will have her design featured on the cover of the NCCC System Conference program, the conference website, name tags, and other printed materials. Corrin’s photo and bio will also be featured on the inside front cover of the program book and she will be recognized during the conference.

The conference will take place October 7th-9that the Raleigh Convention Center. More information can be found at: https://www.nccommunitycolleges.edu/registration-open-nc-community-college-system-conference.
