The Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Radiography Program is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The program has a 8-year accreditation with the next review date in August 2020.

Program Effectiveness Data includes the program completion rate, credentialing examination pass rate, and job placement rate. Credentialing Examination Pass Rate – 2013-2017 (100%)

The number of students that pass the credentialing examination (ARRT) on the first attempt within six months of graduation from the program. The figure reflects an average over a five-year span.

The program’s credentialing examination pass rate stated as an average from 2013 to 2017 is 100%. Seventy-eight out of seventy-eight graduates taking the ARRT credentialing examination within six months of graduation passed on the first attempt.

Job Placement Rate – 2013 through 2017 (99%)

The number of graduates that gain employment in the field of Radiography within twelve months of graduation versus the number of graduates actively seeking employment. Seeking employment is identified as graduates actively looking for employment in the field of Radiography and willing to take a position regardless of shift or pay.

The figure reflects an average over a five-year span.

The program’s job placement rate as an average from 2013 to 2017 is 99%. Sixty-eight of sixty-nine graduates seeking employment obtained jobs in the field of Radiography within twelve months of graduation.

Program Completion Rate – January 1 through December 31, 2017 (83%)

This is an annual measurement of the number of students that complete the program within a cohort, compared to the number of students who enrolled in the cohort and began clinical (RAD 151).

The program’s completion rate for 2017 was 83%. Fifteen of eighteen students who enrolled in RAD 151 in 2015 went on to complete the program in 2017.
