Information technology services at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College strives to provide excellent technical support and service to the Rowan-Cabarrus community. In an effort to meet that goal, we are compiling the ITS Answers database, which will be filled with frequently asked questions, tutorials and other technical information. The ITS Answers database will allow students to find the answers they need when they need them without needing to wait for a response from the ITS Help Desk.

ITS Help Desk
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is pleased to announce the ITS Help Desk has moved to our new home on the first and second floor of Building 300.
- 1st floor – ITS Help Desk and Client Services
- 2nd floor – Ken Ingle – CIO, Velma Reese – Executive Assistant, NIS, and CIS teams
The ITS Help Desk will be available weekday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. and all day Saturdays and Sundays 365 days a year! Thanks to merging the “first-line” functions with Blackboard, we will be able to provide faster service to all of our students, faculty and staff.
Many problems that our students, faculty and staff have with their technology are simple fixes (password resets, printing, etc.) that can be quickly handled. Unfortunately, right now, we’re not able to provide service after business hours with our current model. By using the Blackboard portal, we will now be able to:
- Use online resources to troubleshoot our own issues,
- Talk with someone over the phone evenings and weekends,
- Chat with someone via web chat evenings and weekends,
- Or email someone.
Now, if an issue is too challenging for Blackboard to handle, they’ll send it over to our ITS team where someone will be able to assist you directly.
