About the Help Desk
The Blackboard help desk is available to all students and faculty using Blackboard for instruction. This 24-hours-per-day, 7-days-per-week service is available to provide assistance to internet students who have questions about using Blackboard.
Course specific questions (such as those about assignments, tests, grades, and course content) should be directed to the instructor only.
Online students may contact the Blackboard help desk for assistance in the following ways
- Telephone support with a certified Blackboard support representative. The phone number is 1-800-808-0489 and is available 24/7/365. This information and webpage can be found by clicking on the “Help” icon found at the top of each window in Blackboard.
- Online chat with a certified Blackboard support representative. This feature is accessible through the Blackboard Help Desk Knowledge Base and is available 24/7/365.
- Blackboard Help Desk Knowledge Base is a web-based forum that provides articles about common issues reported, useful documentation, and work-around’s to software-related issues.
If needed, internet access and in-person assistance is available on a first come, first served basis at the learning resource center information commons.
