Forgot Your Password?

Email

  1. Go to the password reset page.
  2. Enter your user ID, your current password and your new password.
  3. Use your user ID and new password to login to your email account.

If you continue to have trouble logging in, call, visit or email the ITS help desk.

Blackboard

  1. Go to the password reset page.
  2. Enter your user ID, your current password and your new password.
  3. Use your user ID and new password to login to Blackboard account.

If you find that you are not able to login, and you are certain that you are entering the right username and password, contact your instructor or contact the ITS Help Desk by emailing helpdesk@rccc.edu or calling (704) 216-7200.

WebAdvisor

If you are a new WebAdvisor user, use the default password and then change your password after logging in.

If you do not remember your password for WebAdvisor, go to the WebAdvisor homepage and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “What’s My Password?” link. From here you have two options: “I might remember” and “I don’t remember.”

I Might Remember

If you chose “I might remember,” then follow the steps below.

  1. Enter your WebAdvisor user ID and click “Submit”.
  2. If you entered a password hint when setting up your password, your password hint will be displayed.

If your hint did not help you remember or if you did not set up a password hint, proceed to the “I don’t remember” option.

I Don’t Remember

If you chose “I don’t remember,” then follow the steps below.

  1. Enter your last name and either your social security number or your ID number and click the “Submit” button.
  2. Select your email account from the drop down box.
  3. Your new temporary password will be emailed to your email account.
  4. Use the temporary password to log in.
  5. You will be asked to update your password.
