Course description:
A.R.I.D.E. or advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement is a course which utilizes the techniques initially taught in standardized field sobriety testing and applies them to drug impaired driving. A.R.I.D.E provides additional information which can assist officers in effective observation and interview techniques related to driving while impaired by alcohol, drugs or a combination of both, and make an informed decision to arrest or not arrest a subject for impaired driving.
