Advanced Police Report Writing

Course Description: The purpose of this course is to provide law enforcement with extra skills and competencies to enhance their Police report writing, further their Criminal Investigations through proper questioning techniques, and prepare their report writing to withstand defense cross-examination. It will cover the importance of Police report writing, techniques to effectively communicate facts in a clear and logical manner, tips to avoid bias, ideas and concepts to assist in effective note taking, and explain the importance of presenting a clear and logical report(s) to a Prosecutor for a solid criminal case and/or a Federal Agency to pursue federal prosecution.
