This class will provide the investigator with, advanced and proven methods of investigating, residential and commercial property crimes., Investigative techniques will be presented, focusing on property related crimes. Topic, areas will include: arriving at the scene (the, preliminary steps), interviewing the victim,, witnesses, and the suspect, evidence collection,, crime scene investigations, undercover and sting, operations, informant issues, follow-up, procedures, prevention, tracking of stolen, property, and community involvement. Practical, exercises will be conducted throughout the course, and a class discussion on current cases that the, students have been assigned to investigate.
