Course Description: Law enforcement budgeting is a complex and very difficult endeavor in an age of limited resources.   This course will concentrate on the operational perspectives of a law enforcement department budgeting process.   The emphasis is placed on understanding the budget process, as well as the actual development of an operational budget for a medium size agency.  The student will be exposed to the various types of budgets, as well as the steps involved in the budget process.
