Course Description: The course goal is to provide participants with entry-level knowledge and skills to practice as an emergency services Telecommunicator.  The course is governed by the North Carolina Sheriff’s Education and Training Standards Commission.  The North Carolina State Telecommunicators Certification exam will be administered on the last day of each class.  Texts for the course should be purchased from the North Carolina Justice Academy Bookstore.
