SUMMARY:Field Training Officer
DESCRIPTION:Course Description: This course is intended to ease an officer’s transition from the academic setting to the performance of general law enforcement or detention duties. Although an officer graduating from the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) or Detention Officer Certification Course (DOCC) has received a thorough introduction to basic law enforcement and/or detention subjects\, that officer cannot be expected to immediately function as an experienced officer.
