Join the Library for our 2021 Diverse Reads Fall Reading Challenge by reading books from the following categories.

Books by a Black Author
Books by a Hispanic/Latinx Author
Books by an Asian Author
Books with a POC as the Main Character
Books with a Person with a Disability as a Main Character
Books with a Person Identifying as LGBTQ+ as the Main Character
Books by Women Published Before 1990
Books Featuring a Historical Event Related to Diversity
BONUS: Books Set in a country other than Your Own OR Choose Your Own Diverse Title for the Bonus Category
How Does it Work?

The Diverse Reads Fall Reading Challenge begins October 4 and runs through December 8. The drawing for prizes will take place on December 10 at noon and winners will be notified by email.

Start reading! For your convenience, the Library has put together a list of eBooks available in our Dogwood Digital Library (OverDrive) for each category, and the Library has a variety of books in print you can borrow to read in addition to the lists of eBooks provided here. Or, read your own diverse books, as well! For More Information
