Fall Registration Underway at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College

REGISTRATION THROUGH AUGUST 14; CLASSES BEING AUGUST 19

SALISBURY, N.C. — Fall registration at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is now underway and ongoing through August 14, 2013.

Enrolling at Rowan-Cabarrus has never been easier; students may apply online at http://www.rccc.edu/admissions/. Registration is online, however, the college provides weekly on-campus support sessions to assist with the enrollment process (http://bit.ly/WebAdvisorSupport). Classes begin Monday, August 19, 2013.

“If you or your child are considering attending Rowan-Cabarrus, we encourage you to take advantage of an upcoming Walk and Talk Wednesday to learn more about why the college is a terrific choice for a great education at a great price,” said Dr. Carol S. Spalding, president of Rowan-Cabarrus.

Walk and Talk Wednesday is an opportunity for prospective students to visit Rowan-Cabarrus. There are generally small group tours of the campus led by a Rowan-Cabarrus staff member. Walk and Talk Wednesday is a great opportunity to see the campus and ask questions. The college’s next Walk and Talk Wednesday is Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 6-7 p.m. at the college’s North Campus in Salisbury and the college’s South Campus in Concord. Register online for the next session: http://www.rccc.edu/admissions/walk-and-talk-wednesdays/.

Hosting day, evening, weekend and online classes, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College provides a strong foundation and transferable credits for students advancing to four-year colleges and helps adults get the additional training they need to start, change or advance careers. From the 18 year-old high school graduate looking for an economical solution to higher education to the adult pursuing GED completion courses or English-as-a-Second-Language classes – Rowan-Cabarrus has it all.
