Application for Degree, Diploma, or Certificate

Students should apply for graduation no later than the semester preceding their expected date of graduation. Special forms for this purpose are available from the student services office and the college website. Students are responsible for ensuring that they have met all program and course requirements to earn the degree, diploma, or certificate to which they are applying.

Degree, Diploma, and Certificate Requirements

Students who successfully complete a two-year technical education program will earn the Associate in Applied Science degree. Students who complete the Arts and Sciences program will earn the Associate in Arts (AA), Associate in Science (AS), or Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree. The diploma is awarded to students who satisfactorily complete a one-year vocational program or the general education core for the AA, AS, or AFA programs. Students who satisfactorily complete programs of study less than a year in length are awarded a Certificate.
