Fall 2012 at the Small Business Center

The Small Business Center (SBC) at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is at the heart of small business resources in Concord, Kannapolis, Salisbury and surrounding towns. Whether you want to start a small business or grow an existing business, the SBC can help you develop a plan of action for lasting success. Our goal is simple — to provide high quality small business education and relevant, comprehensive assistance to you. Programs and services of the Small Business Center are sponsored by the Small Business Center Network (SBCN) of the North Carolina Community College System.

Women and Minority Certifications

Free Seminar

What does it mean to be a “certified” woman or minority owned business and what is required to receive the designation?  Briles Johnson from the NC Institute of Minority Economic Development will lead a discussion about the certification process, the advantages, and questions to ask before selecting a certifying organization.  Discover how to get the most out of certifications to boost your business.

Please join us for this 2-hour free afternoon seminar!  The event will be held Monday, Nov. 5 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at RCCC @ NCRC in Kannapolis, NC.
