Recap of Events:
-November 20 and 24 NCSL (National Center for Student Leadership) Here’s where you and Justin will do your paragraphs about the conference)
-November 6 Blood Drive (North and South) – 29 units collected on South, 40 collected on North
-November 12- Speak Out Series HIV/AIDS Awareness
-November 14-Appreciation Luncheon – As students we are focused on teachers, financial aid, and navigation station staff we forget it takes a whole team of people to help keep the college running the luncheon was to show our appreciation.
-November 20 Wii Wednesday (North)
-November 1-3 N4CSGA Fall Conference
Relay for Life:
-During the last meeting the senate voted to raise $1200 for relay for life. Tricia Douglas and Justin McKnight were chosen as co-chairs. Without objection there will be a fundraiser on Tuesday February 25 on North campus and Wednesday February 26 on south. Please look for a donut sale sign-up sheet.
-There will be a Change Cancer Club Challenge. The challenge is between the clubs and their members. The clubs to raise the most money by April will receive a certificate and bragging rights.
-The committee also decided to have a donut sale The dates were suggested but need to be voted on by the entire committee.
