Auto Safety

This eight-hour course certifies safety inspectors according to state law. The course includes lecture, lab and exit examination.

The textbook is the North Carolina Transportation Division of Motor Vehicle Enforcement Section Manual. You may print it from the NCDOT website.

Registration Details

• Online registration and payment is available.
  1. Navigate to WebAdvisor.
  2. Select “Continuing Education”
  3. Select “Search, Register and Pay for Continuing Education Classes.”
  4. To search for your class, type “AUTO” as a Key Word.
  5. Check the box to select the class and select “Submit.”
  6. Enter your information and follow instructions to register and pay.
