Programs Offered
The Electrical Systems Technology program is designed to provide training for persons interested in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems found in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The curriculum is based on the assumption that a student has no prior knowledge or experience in electricity or electronics.
Training, which is mostly hands-on, will include such topics as AC/DC theory, basic wiring practices, programmable logic, controllers, industrial motor controls, the National Electric Code, and other subjects as local needs require. Graduates of this program should qualify for a variety of careers in the electrical field as an on-the-job trainee or apprentice in the layout, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
RCCC put me on a path into an electrical career. They gave me great opportunities and connections for my future.
