Reports:

President’s Report – Joey Reitano:

From the 8th through the 10th of November, my team and I had the pleasure of attending the fall N4CSGA conference at Forsyth Community College in Winston-Salem. While there we were able to network with other community colleges and discuss state-wide issues in formal business meetings to see if we could formulate a solution for the well-being of our 700,000 plus fellow students back at our campuses.

Public Information Officer Report – Taylor Brigman:
At the September SGA meeting, a motion was passed to donate $100 to the state hurricane relief for Hurricane Dorian. I researched food banks and presented the information to the SGA Board. The Food Bank of Albemarle is located on the Albemarle Sound on the North Carolina coast. They help with disaster relief in the 15 coastal counties impacted by the hurricane. Non-perishable foods and toiletries were purchased with our $100 and shipped directly to the Food Bank of Albemarle in October.
