President’s Report
Although the campus is closed all services are still offered to students remotely.
SGA Election closed on Sunday. The following candidates have been voted into office.

Thank you to everyone who voted and ran for office; it’s great to see students passionate about serving their fellow students. There will be an election in the fall for open positions if interested see Ms. Conyer, Mr. Rivers, or Ms. Barb.

There is a form on the college website under COVID-19 Q & A for students, faculty, or staff to may submit for student needs, including mental health services, financial support, IT services including WIFI and laptops, and unseen financial needs.SGA Cares Covid-19 Response Campaign has already supported many students as well as our community.

We have delivered Snacks of Thanks to the Police and Sherriff departments in Rowan and Cabarrus Counties. Personal Protective Equipment has been ordered and will be delivered to Atrium Health.

Seven hundred and thirty-two dollars and thirty-seven cents ($ 732.37) – has been spent for Community Support (the PPE’s and Snacks of Thanks) of the $1,000 designated. Of the $4,000 designated to students, $1,234.10 has been spent; primarily on groceries and gas.
