  • Summary of Previous Meetings: Plans for the Luau are taking place. The Luau committee has begun plans for ordering food, event location, ticket forms, and taking inventory of decorations. Student Life made a list of ideas for Connections Seminar and began working on Spirit Week ideas. PR tore down the old bulletin board and put up Winter Olympics and Cobra Announcements. Service began ideas for cleaning up a creek. Student Life also began working on club t-shirt design ideas. The club then voted on t-shirt designs while PR put up information for Black History Month on the bulletin board. Finally, Student Life began working on a spirit week flyer

L.I.F.T.

  • Changing the prize for the campus service project voted 3/3 for the change. Changed it to gas cards.
    We talked about the service project and the paperwork required for it. Then discussed the trivia that was made for it. Motion made for a community service project (passed with 5/5 votes). The project will be Bible Trivia on a Google Form. Students who win the trivia will win gift cards. People just needing COVID relief do not have to fill out the form but just select that they need help. Voted on service project.   • Stop Hunger Now event that was 3/18 changed to April the 8th: needs 2-3 volunteers for 1-4 pm
  • April 12th Sexual Assault Awareness @ North Campus (FULL) Time?
  • April 19th Exam Event w/CSA @ NC student center 10:30a-1:30p
  • Senior Lunch (Needs Motion to bring up, vote, etc.)
    The Seniors plan to ask for $700 for the Senior Celebration. Someone needs to make a motion to vote on this. There needs to be a second motion for it to be approved. If need an example of how this should be done just let me know and we can go over it tonight. I’m still working on the breakdown of costs to present to the club, but I am getting very slow responses from the advisors. This may delay the voting until another time this week and It may only be the officer that vote
