Conversational Spanish II (FLI-3717I-01X)

- Registration fee: $70.00. This class is conducted via Zoom. A webcam is required. This course builds on the foundational Spanish skills learned in Level One, with a continued focus on everyday vocabulary, basic grammar, and speaking practice. Designed for students who have completed a beginner Spanish course or have equivalent experience, this class emphasizes real-world communication. Topics include food and healthy habits, community activities, family and celebrations, university life, clothing and shopping, daily routines, and fashion. Students will learn to express preferences, describe people and events, and begin discussing past activities using simple structures. Emphasis is placed on speaking and listening in a practical context with review and support to reinforce key grammar and vocabulary from Spanish I. NOTE: This is not a beginner-level course. It is strongly recommended that students complete Conversational Spanish I or have prior experience with basic Spanish before enrolling.
