Light-Duty Diesel Technology

The Light-Duty Diesel Technology program will focus on cars and trucks, with max towing capacity of 8,500 to 10,000 pounds, and small diesel generators. There will be some overlap between the current automotive technology program and the new light-duty diesel technology program; however, there will be five diesel courses that will be exclusive offered to the light-duty diesel program students.

Graduates will be prepared enter careers as entry-level technicians in the transportation industry, such as automotive repair shops.
