Information Sessions for Health Programs

Dental Assisting Program Information Sessions

Part of the admission requirements is attending an information session. Students are required to attend one health information session in the year prior to or in the year of desired admission. Four sessions are offered each year, generally in February, May, September, and November, but times may vary. The sessions are held at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis, NC. Registration is required. Applicants are required to attend the full session. Adults only, please.

Nursing Programs Information Sessions

The nursing programs require attendance at two separate sessions:

Nursing Admission Advising Session (Item #3 on MAR)

Applicants are required to attend one admission session in the year prior to desired admission. These sessions are offered every other week on both the North and South Campuses. Program admission requirements, admission testing, and the point system will be discussed in detail. Registration is required. Applicants should schedule to attend a session as soon as possible, preferably prior to attending the Nursing Program Information Session.

Nursing Program Information Session (Item #5 on MAR)

Applicants are required to attend one program session in the year prior to desired admission. Five sessions are offered each year. Registration is required. The sessions are held at the North Carolina Research Campus. Nursing program course and clinical schedules, program costs, and other specific program details will be discussed. Applicants are required to attend the full session. Adults only, please.

Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Information Sessions

Part of the admission requirements is attending an information session. Students are required to attend one health information session in the year prior to or in the year of desired admission. Four sessions are offered each year, generally in January, April, July, and October, but times may vary. The sessions are held at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis, NC. Registration is required. Applicants are required to attend the full session. Adults only, please.

Physical Therapist Assistant Program Information Sessions
