Attending an information session is a Minimum Admission Requirement (MAR) for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. These sessions discuss program expectations, curriculum requirements, schedules, costs, clinical expectations, and more. Students must attend the entire session, which is scheduled for 1.5 hours. Attendance is valid for 12 months from the date of completion. Students who are not accepted into the program are required to attend a new information session if their previous session occurred more than one year prior to the MAR deadline.
Students must register for the session in advance by visiting the booking service and selecting the appointment type of Information Session-Occupational Therapy Assistant. Questions regarding the MAR and information sessions should be directed to your Allied Health Career & Academic Advisor.
