The Third Voice in the Interview

Course Description: This course introduces the strategic use of stories, parables and suggestions in the compliance-gaining interview. Third Voice, an advanced interviewing methodology that uses stories, parables and indirect suggestions to support productive communication during investigative interviews. Participants will examine the psychological principles underlying indirect communication and learn how to strategically apply narrative techniques to reduce resistance, encourage reflection and promote voluntary disclosure. The course emphasizes the ethical use of these methods to preserve rapport, maintain professionalism and support effective interview outcomes.
