A.R.I.D.E.

Course Description: A.R.I.D.E., or advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement, is a course which utilizes the techniques initially taught in standardized field sobriety testing and applies them to drug-impaired driving. A.R.I.D.E provides additional information which can assist officers in effective observation and interview techniques related to driving while impaired by alcohol, drugs or a combination of both, and make an informed decision to arrest or not arrest a subject for impaired driving.
