Course Description: This course equips patrol officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, investigate, and effectively respond to drug-related offenses during routine patrol duties, including recognizing drug paraphernalia, conducting legal searches, understanding drug trends, utilizing informant networks, and ensuring officer safety while making drug arrests, all within the parameters of current drug laws and legal procedures.
