First Line Supervision

Course Description: This course teaches experienced officers the basic concepts of management and employee relations by providing the knowledge and skills needed to effectively supervise personnel within a law enforcement agency or detention facility. Topics include your role as a leader, effective supervision, communication, conflict resolution, working with problem employees, and legal issues for first-line supervisors.
