Course Description: One of the biggest challenges of the 21st century is recruiting, selecting, and hiring quality applicants to serve the community.  This course is designed for all current and future law enforcement executives who have a desire to effectively recruit, select, and hire the next generation of leaders.  Today’s police applicant is not the same as you were.  The course of instruction will provide foundational principals related to the entire hiring process.  It will address the skills necessary to develop effective recruitment practices, select the right candidates, and avoid the potential legal pitfalls of the hiring process all while staying competitive in today’s changing job marketplace.
