The Interview and Interrogation of the Mad, Bad, and Sad: Interactions with Persons with Personality Disorders

Individuals who have personality disorders and or mental illnesses can be a challenge to interview. From the paranoid personality to the psychopathic personality to the delusional, this course will cover the differences between mental illness and personality disorders. How to recognize the most common personality types who commit violent crimes so to be able to conduct a successful interview/interrogation. It will examine how they may apply to individuals who claim a mental health defense or not guilty by reason of insanity.
