LICENSE WAIVER COURSE
- April 23, 2023
- South Campus, Building S203, Room 223
- 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Course Description:
This course is designed for riders who have a permit and possess basic skills. Exercises are like the traditional 2-day BRC except speeds are higher and you will be on your own motorcycle. Course includes a 2–3-hour e-Course, an informal classroom component for discussing safety concepts based on past riding experiences and current knowledge, a Skills Test and a Knowledge Test. Passing both tests will be required to earn the DMV License Waiver.
(If you do not need the license waiver component there is a “Skills Practice” offering.)
Individuals interested in attending a BRC 2 must be at least 16 years of age. Students under the age of 18 must have the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian. This form must be signed IN PERSON on the first day of class. If the parent/guardian is unable to accompany the minor on the first day of class, please contact Tabitha Harrison at 704-216-3545 or tabitha.harrison@rccc.edu for instructions on having the form notarized. The minor WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to participate in the class without this important signature.
Requirements:
We strongly recommend this course to anybody who has been riding for a little while. It is a great way to learn more about your riding abilities and the capabilities of your motorcycle. Students interested in attending a BRC2:
