Course Description:

The tactical rifle and sub-gun course is a 3-day, 24-hour course practical skills course designed to assist the operator in shooting the rifle and sub-gun on a tactical level. The  intense training is designed to build the confidence of the of the shooter in a variety of situations. This is a challenging course that consists of:

• loading and reloading drills;
• administrative unloading and inspection;
• shooting from various distances and positions;
• precision shooting;
• moving and shooting,
• combat shooting
• and many drills to allow the operator to get acclimated to tactical shooting.
• This course is also designed to assist operators in room clearing with a long gun and defensive tactics with a long gun. Listed below you will find the required equipment list for this class:

Tactical rifle/sub-gun operator equipment list:

1. Duty rifle, sling, minimum of 3 magazines, rifle / sub-machine gun,  3 magazines, light source
2. Duty handgun, magazines and web gear
3. Gas mask with filters and carrier
4. Ballistic vest – soft body armor or tactical vest
5. 600 rounds rifle
6. 100 rounds handgun
7. Baseball style ball cap
8. Eye and ear protection
9. BDU style pants and rain gear
10. Mandatory outline- will be handed out in class or download off college website.
11. Plenty of water
