Course Description

This 40-hr block of instruction will cover death, investigation, from crime scene to court., Subject matter to be covered includes: will be an overview of death investigation with a focus on Homicides, estimated time of death, forensic, autopsy, death notification, first officer and, lead investigator’s duties, crime scene, processing, evidence collection, forensics and blood spatter. Also to be covered: interviewing and interrogation, Miranda, court preparation and reasonable doubt.
