Community Paramedic FTO CPL, Iredell County EMS
Following in the footsteps of his father, Todd Munsey decided to pursue a career in emergency services and was recently promoted to Community Paramedic Field Training Officer and Community Paramedic by Iredell County EMS, in addition to receiving the agency’s Patch Adams Award.
Munsey completed his paramedic training at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College since it was convenient to his Cleveland, N.C. home and offered the education he needed for his dream career. He considers helping people to be the best part of his job, and enjoys his role as a CPR and paramedic instructor. “It is rewarding to be able to help your fellow man and see the lives changed by that,” he says.
When he is not working, Munsey enjoys playing bass and singing at his church, as well as hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchild.
