  • Select “Students,” then “Search, Register and Pay for Continuing Education Classes.”
  • To search for your class, type a keyword.
  • Check the box(es) to select the class(es) for which you wish to register and select “Submit”.
  • Enter your information and follow instructions to register and pay.

Whether you need to brush up on Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, this boot camp will help you quickly increase your confidence in these widely used Microsoft software products in today’s office environment including word processing, utilizing spreadsheets, and creating presentations. Microsoft Excel 2016 Boot Camp

Microsoft 2016 Excel Boot Camp

This course is designed to provide an overview of the many features of Microsoft 2016 Excel from Basic through Advanced levels, all delivered in a “boot camp style” of classroom instruction. Students will learn to create and manipulate spreadsheets and charts, insert formulas and functions, as well as sort and filter results. In addition, students will learn to use pivot tables and slicers to meet business needs.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel – Basic

Learn how to create a worksheet, use formulas and functions, edit a worksheet, format a worksheet and manage large worksheets.

Microsoft Excel – Intermediate

Learn how to create a chart, edit the chart, insert formulas and functions, create and manage lists, sort and filter lists and use functions in lists.

Microsoft Excel – Advanced

Learn how to manipulate multiple worksheets, summarize data, use pivot tables and pivot charts, record and run macros, and link to Word and import to Access.

Registration

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word – Basic

Learn the various commands on the toolbar and ribbon and how to customize; how to work with files; format and edit a document; work with tables and create documents for the workplace.

Microsoft Word – Intermediate

Learn how to work with columns, design tables and tabs, do calculations and charts, work with auto text and autocorrect, merge features, merge envelopes and labels and insert pictures.

Microsoft Word – Advanced

Learn to apply styles and themes; create templates and forms; record and run macros; track changes; provide references; and prepare documents for publishing.
