Children in the Library

Our staff strives to provide a safe environment for everyone who visits the Library at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. However, no unsupervised children are allowed in the Library unless that child is enrolled in a Curriculum, Career & College Promise (CCP), or Early College class.

The parent or guardian is responsible for the child’s behavior while in the Library and must immediately address any behavior issues. Failure to remedy the behavior issues will result in removal from the Library space for 24 hours.

Unsupervised children will immediately be placed in the custody of Security during an attempt to locate the parent or guardian.

Children under the age of 16 not enrolled as a Rowan-Cabarrus student are not allowed on Library lab computers, supervised or unsupervised.
