Work-Based Learning Student of the Year

Congratulations to Rowan Cabarrus Community Colleges’ Work-Based Learning (WBL) student of the year (2017-2018) Samantha Honeycutt!

In spring 2017, Samantha interned with the Department of Public Safety here at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. For fall 2017 and spring 2018, she interned with a local medical practice and she did such an outstanding job that she was hired during her internship!

Samantha recently graduated with her Medical Office Administration degree in May 2018 where she received an honorary WBL student of the year mention in Rowan-Cabarrus Community Colleges’ graduation brochure. She also received a WBL student of the year plaque to honor her accomplishment!

Thank you for commitment to excellence Samantha! Keep up the good work!
